I’ve been playing guitar for 19 years! I’ve been teaching professionally for 10 years! I enjoy teaching so much, & learn as much from my students everyday as they do from me. The only way to grow is to constantly have an open mind in what you hear & learn! I just recently released my first all instrumental CD in June of 2007 titled “Guitar with a Voice” It’s doing well, & I have 4 videos on youtube of songs off of that CD! I also have a myspace page with 4 other songs off of that cd for listening @ http://www.myspace.com/troykclark
I opened up for “The Little River Band” last summer July 2007 right after my cd debuted! All the music I played was accepted with great appreciation. I believe the guitar is the most versatile instrument in the world, & has a unique vocal like quality, unlike any other! I always try to tell a story with the guitar when I am writing material! I have a deep passion for music & the instrument itself, & I know it shows when I’m playing! I would love to win this contest, but there are allot of great players out there, so may the best man win!
