name:omer avni age: 24(1983)
i’ve began to play in the age of 15 on a cheap classical guitar.
i would go to group lessons at the music school near my home,
towards the age 0f 16 i bought my 1st electric guitar and amp(peavy)
and have made my commitment to rock!
of course thet ment getting into a band taking guitar lessons
from “the best” -suppousetly and practice all day long.
in the age of 17 i flew to boston and recieved a 6000$ per
simester schollership which back in 2001 was a big part of the tuition
the big deal was the following:
1.i didn’t read notes back then.
2.i was a heavy metalist in a school of jazz.
3. i was fuckin 17!!!
4. i was from israel.
i was pretty excited and gut back to my country proud
feeling all the practice maybe worked out for me after all
(an 8 houer a day habbit no bigi:)

but when i gut home- everyone turned there backs on me -family,friends,...everybody and i decided to go do the army service as a combat soldier. at the age of 18 everyone in my country is drafted by law@ when i gut out of the army at the age of 21 after not playing for three years(the whole service.)i have learnd to play from scretch all over again. at the age of 23 i was declaired the best rock guitarist in my country in a guitar competition in 102fm-tel aviv radio station. and today i have released my 1st album in israel as a singer/songwriter/guitar hero kind of an artist -the album incorporates 7 english songs and 3 instrumentals of all rock genres. i want to participate in the guitar idol competiton and win.
