My name is John Gorbe. I’m a professional guitarist from the Philadelphia , Pa area and have been teaching for the past 15 years. I’m endorsed by Minarik guitars and recently achieved approval as a Martin Guitar Artist. I also provide instructional videos for MusicVirtuosity.com and manage instructional content for GuitarTips.com. In 2004, I founded the “John Gorbe Guitar System”. This system is organized into 8 ranks and 8 degrees. Students are motivated by earning certificates after completing each rank. After acheiving Rank 4, students select a major focus on their playing style and further develop their voice on guitar. I also include this system through online webcam lessons as well as privately.
