I am 18, about to graduate high school in a few weeks, and I love to play guitar. I primarily play acoustic and just play acoustic covers of songs, or do fingerstyle picking songs, such as Peppino D’Agostino’s. My favorite songs to play are by John Frusciante because his music is so raw, emotional, and pleasant.
The song that I’m entering is called “They’re Calling Your Name” which is an original song that I wrote. My Uncle Danny accompanies me in this song with his tenor and soprano saxophone. You only see his soprano in the video, but if you listen to the mp3 at www.myspace.com/jonsfanmusic (my other myspace)you can hear the tapping guitar melody in the chorus (hard to hear in the video sometimes), the rhythm guitar, and both saxophones playing at once. Whichever version you like more, the video playing to the mp3 as a backing track, or just the mp3, listen to that one and please vote for me =D. I worked really hard to make this song and it’s the very first song I ever made with just 2 years of music experience at all.
