Jon Miller

I’m Jon Miller, I’m 16, and I’ve been playing guitar for about 2 and a half years. Is that enough? I’ve seen some other entries, and they’re all awesome! Still, if I don’t enter, I definitely won’t win, so it’s worth a go.

I’ve only just started playing solo on the gigging circuit with my own material.
My main influences include such huge guitar players as Vinnie Moore and Eddie Van Halen, the latter of which inspired me to decorate my guitar with loads of pretty sweet-looking red stripes, let alone lacing my playing with bluesy shred licks.
Speaking of Vinnie Moore, the track I’ve uploaded is called ‘Third Rock’ and is inspired by his classic solo ‘Meltdown,’ as well as Joe Satriani’s epic ‘The Extremist.’
