Top notch playing and composition from this harmonically sophisticated guitarist, Claudio was a great find: intelligent and well considered playing from a consummate professional.
I am from Rome, Italy and have been playing over two decades now.
Totally self tought I only took harmony lesson in my mid-twenties when I had already developed my own style which the result of countless hours spent learning lines from vinyl recors and tapes. In the mean time I jammed with other musicians and played live gigs all over the most popular venues in Rome.
My early influences were hard rock and progressive players like Van Halen, Yngwie, Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Vai, MacAlpine
and later more jazzy and fusion oriented players like the Greg Howe, Frank Gambale, Allan Holdsworth, Scott Henderson.
I moved to London ten years ago and I rarely play live now. Instead I am focusing into composing, arranging and digitally recording my own music.
few tech notes: I customise all my guitars as I rarely use stock guitars. The green guitar on the picture is all custom built.
For this video I used the natural all valves distortion of a Mesa Boogie Triaxis straight through thecompurer’s hard disk, without any stomp box.
Reverb and delay are from a TC Electronics G Major, and pick ups are Seymour Duncan.
That’s all folks,
may the best musician win and always keep live music alive!!
